Marketing Executive

This is a position of responsibility within a small well established professional business employing twenty people in Bristol.  The privately owned company has been developing and delivering successful IT projects to UK and global organisations for more than thirty years.

Position:   Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week

Benefits:  Private health insurance, life insurance, pension scheme, 25 days paid leave annually.

What the job entails

  • General marketing campaign administration
  • Generating sales leads through telemarketing and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Assisting in digital sales and marketing activities by writing blogs, industry news articles in our website and publishing across a range of social media platforms.
  • Adwords and Google Analytics Management
  • Coordination of activities around attendance at trade shows
  • Ensuring high ranking in web search engines
  • Preparing periodic progress and statistical reports
  • Maintaining good relations with customers and potential customers
  • Control of the marketing budget

Skills & Experience

  • Digital marketing: working with a website content management system as well as experience in content writing, blog writing, maintenance and publishing to social media platforms and email marketing campaigns
  • Technology savvy
  • Good copy writing and proof-reading skills
  • Understanding of web analytics and web accessibility
  • Good telephone manner and literacy
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email
  • Organised, good communicator, self motivated, creative, works on own initiative.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Volume of qualified sales meetings arranged
  • Improved traffic and click through rates across digital marketing campaign and social media platforms
  • Increase industry specific followers on Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Agreed personal goals

Job Location

This position is based in Bristol.

Junior Implementation Consultant

This role will be of interest to an applicant with an interest in working within a software application provider with a strong reputation for delivering successful implementation projects to the manufacturing, facilities and emergency services sectors.  The successful applicant will assist in implementing Idhammar software applications within a wide range of industrial environments under the direction of senior implementation specialists.

Position: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Skills & Experience

  • Industrial experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Maintenance Management, OEE or other industrial systems
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office products: comfortable with IT and computers
  • Project Management
  • Commercial acumen
  • Driving licence (essential)

Job Location

Idhammar Systems is based in Bristol with offices in Sweden and partners throughout the world.

A significant amount of time will be spent at customer sites within the UK.  Attendance at the Bristol office will also be required, and travel outside the UK is to be expected from time to time.
