The Swedish division of Findus’ annual pea harvest comes from 6,500 hectares of pea fields, equating to 26,000 tonnes of peas that will be frozen, packaged and distributed all over Europe.  And the peas are not the only entity on the move, as Findus engineers benefit from the Idhammar Mobile Maintenance module, which provides wireless access to the Idhammar CMMS, helping the mobile workforce improve working time effectiveness. Using hardware from Denso, engineers are also improving their stock operations by reducing administration time and removing paperwork from the shopfloor.

Chivas Brothers

Chivas Brothers is the global leader in luxury Scotch whisky with 85% market share of Scotch whisky aged 21 years old and over. The company produces, exports and markets some of the world’s best known and highest quality malts, blends and premium gins.  Having implemented the Idhammar OEE Automatic Line Data Portal and Andon solution the bottling plant in Scotland is producing ‘More in the Same Time (MIST) with a reported increase in speed of 250 to 300 bpm with the elimination of just minor stops.

Tennents Lager

C&C Group, leading manufacturer and distributor of branded beverages in Ireland and the UK, use a CMMS supported by Idhammar Systems to maintain assets and manage stock at the Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow which produces market leading ciders Bulmers and Magners, along with best-selling Tennents beer. Tennents has been brewed at the Wellpark site for over 125 years and with the latest advances in 9 step manufacturing process (malting, mashing, mash filtration, wort boiling, wort colling, fermentation, maturation, filtration, and packaging), the site produces 2000 cans per minute which is 120,000 per hour.
